Our newest single, “C-Creepio,” plus two b-sides. All are non-album tracks from the same sessions as our upcoming full-length. “C-Creepio” was the first song we wrote as a reconfigured duo. Although we had discussed ideas for this anti-AI anthem for a while, one day David brought in an electronic loop he had made and everything fell into place, instant magic. “Parasites” is a reworking of “Velcrow Lie” from AECPWMCTEP, and “Bauhaus in the Bahamas” describes what we imagine would happen if that Goth powerhouse went on a tropical holiday together. It doesn’t have to make sense.

Quarantine kept us apart but we recorded ideas at home and collaborated online to make this strange but necessary follow-up to our debut EP. The AEC ‘Person Woman Man Camera Television’ EP was our personal cognition test in how we tried to make sense of the world in which we found ourselves. Keyboards, samples, drums, guitars, and field recordings were our coping mechanisms.

The one that started it all. These are the tracks that formed the foundation of Atomic Energy Commission, harnessing the rhythms and vibrations of this modern life. All these tracks were recorded live as we played them, with the help of David’s vintage PA reverb. Luckily, most of these songs came pretty quickly for us, like we were channeling a hidden frequency only we could hear. Like capturing lightning in a bottle.
